Through my learning experience of studying in a different culture abroad, I was able to apply my knowledge from my subject area of Tourism firsthand. I related to the knowledge I acquired by living in a different country, which impacted my learning experience. Studying abroad was the best time in my life, and where I learned the most.

 Both areas of emphasis for my degree in BIS are necessary for my future. Combining my communication skills and my golf course member relations experience, I gained the ability to relate to various personality traits and expectations.  Having a BIS degree has confirmed my desire to want to pursue a career in Event Planning or Membership sales at a golf course.
